Tam Jalapeno: Maturity 85 days. The standard for nachos and Mexican cuisine, it's pretty hot! Pungent 3-1/2" fruit delivers 4,750 Scovilles of heat. These rounded, thick-walled fruits are borne in great numbers on very vigorous 26" plants. They are ready to pick when dark green. An extended harvest suits the home gardener.
Keystone Resistant: Heavy yields of wide sweet bell peppers. Peppers have thick walls and turn from green to red when mature. Produces well even under adverse weather conditons. A perfect stuffing pepper. Suitable for home garden and market growers. Heavy foliage reduces susceptibilty to sunscald. Thick stems are breakage-resistant under heavy fruit load.
Hungarian Wax: Banana shaped hot peppers. Mildly hot, have thick walls, and turn from yellow, to orange, to red when mature. Plant has green stems, green leaves, and white flowers. Excellent for pickling, frying, or stuffing.
Sweet Banana: Maturity 68 days. Elongated 6" peppers turn scarlet when fully ripe but stay sweet and mild. A long time favorite for flavor. Delightful in salads, exquisitely pungent pickled. Amazing yields. Waxy, thin walled. Tapers to a blunt end. Very prolific, not spicy.
California Wonder Bell: Maturity 75 days. This old time favorite produces large bell type peppers that have a sweet flavor with thick tasty crisp flesh. Perfect for stuffing, cooking or salads. Disease resistant to Tobacco Mosaic Virus.
Cayenne Round Thin: Maturity 75 days. Very hot fruits 5" long and 1/2" thick. Use fresh or easily dried for winter use. Pendant fruits are 3/4" wide by 5" to 6" long. Use rubber gloves, or clean hot peppers under running water to avoid skin burn from the pepper juice. Makes great salsa.
Serrano Chili: Small, finger-shaped, hot peppers picked green or red. Chile is green in color at first, and ripens to red, brown, orange, or yellow. Said to be about 5 times hotter than the jalapeno.
