Straight Eight: Maturity 60 days. A favorite white spine cucumber. Even, deeply colored symetrically shaped fruits are best picked when 8" long for top flavor. For perfect cucumbers, grow them on a fence or trellis. This classic has excellent flavor and is widely adapted.
National Pickling: Maturity 52 days. Plant produces heavy yields of 6" long cucumbers. Ideal for making dill pickles. A perfect variety for the home garden. Blocky fruit is crispy and tender skinned. Holds it quality longer than most varieties. Vigorous, medium length vines.
Marketmore 76: Maturity 63 days. A favorite slicer for any garden. 8-9" dark green fruits are resistant to scab, cucumber mosaic and mildews. Maintain their uniform color, even under weather stress. Remains dark green even in hot weather, has a sweet mild flavor, tapers at both ends, blocky, white spines, and no stippling. Good for both home gardens or market in cool climate areas.
